Katie Hartsock grew up around Youngstown, Ohio, and is currently a doctoral candidate at Northwestern University. Her poems have recently appeared in Southern Indiana Review and Beloit Poetry Journal, and are forthcoming in Iron Horse Literary Review, Measure, and Southwest Review. Her chapbook, Hotels, Motels, and Extended Stays, was published by Toadlily Press in their Quartet Series in 2014. Katie’s poem “Cuticles” was a finalist for the 2013 RHINO Founders’ Prize.

Gail Goepfert is a poet, amateur photographer, and teacher.  Currently, she is an associate editor of RHINO Poetry.  Her story spans the Midwest in locations between the Mississippi River and northern Ohio. Her first chapbook, A Mind on Pain, was released by Finishing Line Press in early 2015.  Her publications include AvocetOff Channel, After Hours, Caesura, Florida English, Jet Fuel Review, Examined Life Journal, Ardor, and Room Magazine. She was the featured poet for January on Blue Heron Review.  Her photographs appear online at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Olentangy Review, 3Elements Review, and was the cover for February Rattle
