Topic: Elasticity of Time. This workshop will explore how writers use description to expand or suspend time. We will also discuss what happens when details fall away--when loss, love, or trauma compels evasion. We will attempt, in our writing, to pull moments forward to hold them burning before us or watch them diminish on a distant horizon.
