Daniel Suárez is a first generation Cuban American born and raised in Chicago, IL. He holds an MA in English and MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. His poems can be found in The Columbia Poetry Review, RHINO, Eleven Eleven, 5×5, Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, Third Coast, [PANK] LATINX/Latinidad folio, and other journals. He works as a Pre-K Teacher Assistant at the elementary school he attended.

After years in publishing and PR, Patrice Boyer Claeys completed a Certificate in Poetry from the University of Chicago and published her first book, “Lovely Daughter of the Shattering,” with Kelsay Books. Her work has appeared in Clementine Unbound, Mom Egg Review, Postcard Poems & Prose, Bird's Thumb, and Open: Journal of Arts & Letters, among others. She was featured in Light: A Journal of Photography & Poetry and was nominated for Best of the Net.
